SRKPS

ORGANIZATION'S PHILOSPHY             MAP-  JHUNJHUNU   CHURU 

The organisation works on the belief that any development effort cannot be successful unless the people for whom the effort is being made actively participate in the process to make the programme a "peoples’ programme". The organisation believes in pooling the strength, expertise and resources of both governmental and non-governmental organisation keeping in mind the need of the targeted beneficiaries.

VISION
SRKPS’s vision is to make real the idea of society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together and solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts. The commitment is to work for a paradigm of development and governance that is democratic and polyarchic.
SRKPS seeks to contribute for a healthy & wealthy society since it has a vision- “Contribute towards development of a healthy, educated and self-reliant society.”

MISSION
To actualize the vision, SRKPS has developed a mission that- “Women, Children & Deprived class should be organized and make them able to take active participation in Health, Education and self-governance to eliminate inequalities.”

STRATEGY
The long-term strategy of SRKPS focuses on creating the social, institutional and property base for a democratic and participatory approach benefiting and empowering the poorest sections in the society.

The specific objectives are:
1. Improve health and nutritional status of women and children.
2. Improve access to quality health services.
3. Economic and social empowerment of women.
4. Sustainable development of rural and urban areas.
5. Skill training to educated unemployed.
6. Assistance to elderly and handicapped persons.
7. Providing access to primary education.
8. Empowerment through Panchayati Raj Institutions.
9. Enhancing people’s awareness about environmental degradation.
10. Eradication of child Labour practices


INTERVENTION AREA
The three programme sectors have the following activity components:

Livelihoods:   Natural Resource Management, Non- Farm Income generation, Disaster Management

Capabilities:  Education, Health and Women & Child Development

Institutions:   Strengthen Local Self Governance
